Dr. Desiree Thomas
Your pet's family doctor
Born and raised in a military family, she spent most of her childhood in Germany before moving back to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Dr. Thomas attended Arkansas State Univeristy for 3 years, participating as an NCAA athlete. She then moved to Louisiana when she was accepted to Louisiana State University to fufill her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian in 2012. She practiced for 2.5 years at a high volume companion animal hospital, were she was the only doctor to see pocket pets. During her 2.5 years she practiced under three veteran veterinarians to gain knowledge and experience.
When Dr. Thomas is not loving on her patients she is hanging out with her husband, their baby girl and their dog Clyde. Dr. Thomas enjoys traveling, wakeboarding, fishing and snowboarding during her down time. You can also frequently find her cheering on her alma mater during the football and baseball seasons.
